I am very pleased to report that the first week of school went by fairly well. The children and older students are all so much fun to be around!! This last weekend we drove into Farmington, New Mexico and i had a blast with two other women from the Mission here!! It is a Beautiful drive going from here to Farmington... so many mountains and just an awesome view of the sky!! As far as the needs of the Mission go, we need prayer!! Just for all of these students, they have all heard the Awesome message that Jesus saves, and so now they have to decide to either accept it or reject it. There is a battle going on for these students hearts that is very strong, but it is awesome to know that God has already secured the victory for anyont who will believe on Him! This morning in Church we sang an amazing song... "Mighty to Save" the lyrics are just so powerful yet we don't even realize it most of the time. "Savior, He can move the mountains, my God is Mighty to save, He is Mighty to save, forever, Author of salvation, He rose and conquered the grave, Jesus conquered the grave..." How powerful?! Our Savior can move mountains, He rose from the dead and yet we worry that He is not going to work things out for us when we are following Him?! Christ didn't just save us once, He will save us everytime we call upon His name... Micah 7:7 "As for me, I will look to the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation." We need to constantly be looking to the Lord to "save" us from any situation we are going through!! God is SO Good, how could we not trust Him with everything we have?!
